So out with "PE with Joe" and in with "Cosmic Kids Yoga". The videos are short, varied, and manageable for now, and the voice is soothing enough that I don't mind listening to it for up to half an hour.
The yoga is also welcome for me. I'm currently working in bed, since my desk is still in the living room and we don't have room to move it as well as @aardnebby.lj's too into our bedroom. This means I need to watch my posture and make sure I do stretches regularly.
Told @aardnebby.lj that I was still feeling frazzled at the end of the day, so he's booked himself off for another half-hour so I get a break in the afternoon - used it to break out my violin and give it a spin . S looked at me with huge eyes and started giggling at the sounds I was making.
The children and I went for a walk to the meadows; enforcing social distance is a bit difficult in these times when she's only four. I'm explaining it to her as best as I can and she's slowly understanding it, which is encouraging. We did come across quite a few people on our side of the meadow, so might need to rethink when we go walking, or how we go walking. Luckily the garden-sharing seems to be going well, the neighbor has mentioned she wants to stick to a "school day timetable" so she's planned in certain times for each student..
Still calling family pretty regularly; Second Sister is struggling with the lack of control and the isolation I believe. Trying to help as best I can although I'm aware that there are a lot of things that would help that she just can't partake in right now.
