Day 15

Today was not realy a successful day.
It started with a lie-in, which would have been amazing except that [livejournal.com profile] aardnebby was worried about his workday - quite a few meetings and phone calls. And while the company has been overall amazing, they don't seem to realise how much accomodating goes into a "normal day" now, which means that changing meetings around and adding calls suddenly can have some pretty serious knock-on effect for the rest of the family. Ho-hum. May have exploded quietly when at one point he said "But I have a really hectic day". Luckily, he realised immediately what he'd said, and apologised and we agreed we needed to work out a better system for this scenario in the future.
The children are getting used to being at home for now. I'm worried that they will start fretting soon, although I suppose there's no point in borrowing any grief right now. Since we're stuck at home without having to wake up as early and we have two weeks of lighter work, we're going to try and see if we can convince Sebastien that spending the whole night in his own bed is something that he can consider. He's getting better at falling asleep on his own in his bed for naptime so I'm hoping that that will carry over. And hopefully mean that we have a bit more time to ourselves in the evening - gaming last night was fun.
One really stressful email from work stemming from an oversight. Hopefully it'll be fine, now that I've dealt with it. Adrenaline spikes are unpleasant.
But I managed to: practise violin, do my exercise and colour in one page. Making sure that I make time for myself seems to be working.
