enielFirst day back juggling work together after a long weekend.
C and S are still enjoying yoga. Have decided I need to notivate myself about the work I'm doing and the work that needs doing - it is too easy to just fall by the wayside! I'm not necessarily trying to do all the things but hopefully am trying to find some time to do more things than I would otherwise do.
Had a truly lovely hour-long walk with the children to the meadows and back, picking up dandelions and watching them fly away. S was thrilled that we saw two trains, one on the way out and one on the way back.
Our seedlings have been growing sturdily, and I'm now considering how I will transpot them into bigger containers by the end of the week. I'm surprised that so many of them seem to be doing so well. I've felt that I'm not a very good plant-grower, but maybe I need to just have more time, patience, better seeds, sun, life, the universe, everything...?
S is starting to vaguely be aware of social distancing, in a very very very vague manner. C has a clear understanding of it, which does make sharing the garden with the neighbour, and social distancing, rather difficult. Especially since their side of the garden is much smaller and we usually share and share alike. Neighbour's daughter is rather fractious now, and had a proper pout today when C maintained that she didn't want to play with her, because she needed some alone time.
Trying to do a bit more work with C on handwriting and reading and counting, but also to keep it fun. Not always succeeding, but fingers crossed!
