enielHad another video-gaming session with Second Sister. We played Incy Wincy Spider. A bit more strategy maybe? She seemed in slightly better spirits. We also played card games with C and S tried to join in. He thought that our version of Old Maid was hilarious, and kept trying to pass on @aardnebby.lj's cards to C... so we had to play the intermittent rounds super fast or @aardnebby.lj would run out of cards.
It is interesting to watch C's relationship with games and winning. She enjoys playing, and is happy to not always win but also enjoys the feeling of being the winner. Trying to navigate with her the ability to congratulate someone else, which is proving fraught with tension at times. I've also done some crafts today - using nail polish to create patterns and marbled paper with water, and discussing why the nail polish moves the way it does in the water.
Kitchen smelled of remover after as I scrubbed the baking dish clean!
Still feeling blessed with the sun, and decided to stay up late to enjoy watching the production of Jane Eyre from Bristol's Old Vic. Very interesting...
